Green Dot Certification
During 2001 contacts were made with the “Sociedade Ponto Verde” in order to prepare Miguel & Miguel’s association to the “Ponto Verde” system.
This association was considered an economic, environmental and administratively more advantageous solution than the creation of a proper management system for the non-reusable packaging waste of the products that we place on the national market, which allowed the consolidation of the management system of the products. packaging waste, in order to ensure compliance with legal obligations regarding the management of packaging waste.
The process was completed during 2001 and since then we have ensured the annual renewal of the certification. With regard to the certification for 2011, we started the process during last year, having obtained the Ponto Verde Certificate for 2011 in December 2010.
