The Miguel & Miguel
Founded in 1997, the company is dedicated to the manufacture of sausages, hams and Preparation of Pork Meat. Since the beginning of our activity we achieved a rapid growth and prominence, factors that allowed the development of a knowledgeable and productive structure already established in the domestic market.
Based in Vila Nova de S. Bento, in the county of Serpa and Beja district, the Miguel & Miguel – Iberian pig transformation, takes the form of Anonimous Sociaty. Currently has a staff of about 35 permanent employees with appropriate qualifications and experience, with a well-structured organization chart and appropriate to the needs of the company and duly supported by a modern logistics structure.
The company also offers, through a sustained and balanced growth, a great contribution to the improvement of the region’s economy, providing employment opportunities and social stability as well as protection of the environment and the welfare of society in general.
Sinse the beggining, the administration assumed a commitment to professional qualification, innovation, and development of methods for organization-oriented evolution and continuous improvement to meet the needs of our customers as well as promoting our competitiveness.
In this perspective, the company was certified by SGS, in 2009, with the implementation of a Quality Management System and Food Safety based on reference standard ISO 9001:2000, which certifies the company within Manufacturing sausage pork, Preparation, Processing and Freezing meat and meat Products of Pork, which was renewed in 2015 with the ISO 9001: 2008. In July 2016 this certification was replaced by the certification according to the normative reference FSSC 22000, valid until 2019 standard more appropriate to the activity of the company, witch is now under renovation process.

Well, we do not just put the product on the shelf but rather also accompany it with commercial and promoters experienced and dynamic.
